Portable Air-con for Leisure Centres and Gyms

People head to leisure centres and gyms to:

- Feel good (both physically and mentally);
- Control their weight;
- Protect their general health (both in the short and long-term);
- Enhance their flexibility;
- Enhance their stamina; and to
- Make new friends to make new friends.

They do not head to catch a chilly! But, actually, a lot of people do. Why? For the reason that ac system with the leisure centre and gym they use is poor and/or does not help in reducing humidity without reducing temperatures to unbearable levels. In short, the room rapidly overcools, and users head for your showers.

Before we discuss the solution, allow us to check out the setting to everyone this…

Not every leisure centre and gym in the UK is part of an state-of-the-art leisure complex; the shiny, happy consequence of a multi-million pound investment sometime in the last decade. Lots of people are positioned in converted buildings which were originally designed for another purpose, not for personal fitness training, aerobics, badminton, or even salsa soul classes.

Throughout the property’s refurbishment, the expense of installing a hi-tech air con. system was simply prohibitive, or was even dismissed as ‘not a priority’.

Modern, newly-built leisure centres and gyms could also lose members for similar reason. Inside their wisdom, the commissioned architects chose a fundamental, no frills built-in air conditioning system from the get-go, if would suffice. In fact, people check out leisure centres and gyms to pump iron and clock up miles over a treadmill and are far too dedicated to reaching their fitness goals to consider air conditioning, right?

Wrong.
